Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home
The Morton Funeral Home was established by Howard D. Morton in 1922. At that time, the funeral home was also used as the home base for Mr. Morton’s ambulance service. Upon Mr. Morton’s retirement (in the late 1950s), Virgil L. Howard purchased the funeral parlor from his father-in-law, Mr. Morton.
