Anthony J. Duell                  â€œbeloved father, son and fiancé”

COUDERSPORT, PA---Anthony J. Duell, 30, of Coudersport, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 1, 2016 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, surrounded by his loving family.
     Born on August 4, 1985 in Richmond, Virginia, he was a son of Wynn-Scott and Hazel R. Cottrell Duell.
     Anthony was a graduate of Port Allegany High School and also a graduate of the Seneca Highlands Construction Program.
     Anthony worked in construction alongside his father.
     He was a member of the Roulette Fish and Game Club and he volunteered at the LEEK Hunting & Mountain Preserve in Oswayo, helping disabled Veterans. He was a coach for the Coudersport PeeWee Football program and the inner city baseball program. He also was a Tee-Ball coach. He loved to be a part of his sons’ sports. He loved to hunt, fish and enjoy the outdoors with his family. His greatest love was his family.
     Surviving besides his parents of Roulette are his loving fiancée, Megan M. Button, with whom he resided; three sons, Modiki S. Duell, Bryant A. Duell, and Ethan J. Duell, all at home; a brother, Scott A. (Jenna) Duell of Coudersport; a sister, Lily R. Duell of Roulette; his maternal grandmother, Katherine Cottrell of Roulette; his paternal grandfather, Sam Duell of Chester, VA; a niece; and three nephews.
     Friends may call from 1 pm to 3 pm next Saturday, April 16, 2016 at the Sweden Valley Faith United Methodist Church, Route 6, Coudersport, where a celebration of Anthony’s life will follow at 3 pm with Anthony’s aunt, the Rev. Trula L. Hollywood, pastor of the Church of the Redeemer, Sayre, officiating.
     “Fly high, my son, and let your life carry on within your children and in our hearts forever”.

     Anthony’s family has entrusted his care to the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
