SHINGLEHOUSE, Pa.---Audrey Louise Easton Schultz, 81, of Shinglehouse, passed away from heart failure on Monday, April 5, 2021, in Live Oak, Texas.
Born on Tuesday, December 12, 1939 in Potter County, she was a daughter of Leonard and Louise Bailey Easton. On May 28, 1971 in Emporium, she married James E. Schultz, who preceded her in death.
Audrey was a firecracker of a woman who had an immense love for her home, her family, her friends, and her animals. She was fiercely independent. She was known by many for her cooking and baking and for providing many with her homemade treats. She will be greatly missed.
Surviving are two stepsons, Herman L. (Pam) Burrows of Shinglehouse and James J. (Susan) Schultz of Ransomville, N.Y.; a daughter-in-law, Pamela Schultz of Shinglehouse; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Audrey was predeceased by a daughter, Yavonne A. Wolfe; a son, Scott B. Schultz; a stepson, Jeffrey R. Schultz; five brothers; and six sisters.
Audrey’s family will hold a private celebration of her life.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Audrey’s name may be made to a SPCA of the donor’s choice; to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959; or to the Oswayo Valley Senior Center, PO Box 671, Shinglehouse, PA 16748.
Audrey’s family is being assisted by Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
