Charlotte M. Kellogg âbeloved aunt and sisterâ
SHINGLEHOUSE, PA---Charlotte M. Kellogg, 80, of Shinglehouse, passed away Friday, June 21, 2013 in Absolut of Allegany, Allegany, NY after a long illness.
Born September 30, 1932 at home in Alma, NY, she was a daughter of Charles and Lina Harrington Dickerson. On December 24, 1958 in Pikeville, NY, she married Thomas John Kellogg, who passed away on September 28, 2010.
Mrs. Kellogg was a graduate of Wellsville High School, class of 1952. She had been employed as secretary to the Dean at St. Bonaventure University in the late 1950âs and the 1960âs.
She enjoyed gardening and being outside enjoying nature.
Surviving are a brother, Carl (Lucille) Dickerson of Belmont, NY; and several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Christine Carpenter (David) Conner of Allegany, NY.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Kellogg was predeceased by a sister, Ruby Burch; and three brothers, Earl Dickerson, Orville Dickerson, and Arvis Dickerson.
Friends may call at the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, 118 South Union Street, Shinglehouse, PA on Monday, June 24, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at which time funeral services will be held with the Rev. Chad E. Shaffer, pastor of Bell Run Union Church, Shinglehouse, officiating. Burial will be in Bell Run Cemetery.
