Cindy Kay Siebert “beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister”

SHINGLEHOUSE, Pa.---Cindy Kay Siebert, 65, a lifelong resident of Shinglehouse, passed away with her family by her side on Thursday, December 23, 2021, in the Olean General Hospital, Olean, N.Y, after a battle with COVID-19.
Born on Monday, November 12, 1956 in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of Daniel R. and Margaret I. Blakeslee Karr. On September 24, 1977 in Shinglehouse, she married Roger S. Siebert, who survives.
Cindy was a graduate of Oswayo Valley High School, Class of 1976, in Shinglehouse. She was employed at various locations in Shinglehouse, including the former Pepper Sawmill, the former Hewitt Manor Nursing Home, the former Burger King and the former Uni-Mart.
Cindy attended the First Baptist Church in Shinglehouse. She was a member of the Shinglehouse Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the former Shinglehouse Volunteer Fireman’s Auxiliary. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, yard sales, Facebook, computer games, watching her TV shows, and wood crafts. Her greatest love in life was her family.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Travis Sinclair (Susan Chadwick Pierce) Siebert of Shinglehouse; six grandchildren, Brandi Siebert, Wyatt Baker, Kamron Siebert, Koda Siebert, Kristopher Siebert, and Katelynne Payne; two great-grandchildren, Aleeah and Leighton Jenison; five brothers, Randy (Debbie) Karr of Shinglehouse, Brad (Karin) Karr of Coudersport, Brian Karr of Shinglehouse, Tim (Karla) Karr of Coudersport, Danny (Tina) Karr of Shinglehouse, and Eric Karr of Shinglehouse; three sisters, Bonnie (Gary) Bachand of Shinglehouse, Sue (Steve) Brabham of Shinglehouse, and Patty Karr of Shinglehouse; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Cindy was predeceased by a daughter Heather Lynn Siebert, who passed away on November 19, 2015.
A celebration of Cindy’s life will be held on a date, time, and place to be announced.

Cindy’s family has entrusted her care and cremation arrangements to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
