Corry W. Gaberseck “beloved son, brother and best friend”
COUDERSPORT, PA---Corry W. Gaberseck, 24, of Coudersport, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2017, after injuries sustained in an Enduro accident in Sylvania Township.
Born on November 12, 1992, he was a son of Larry D. and Mona F. Wright Gaberseck.
Corry was a graduate of Coudersport High School, Class of 2011. A hard worker, Corry was employed in the family business, Gaberseck Brothers. He was also employed by Glenn O. Hawbaker Construction, Wood Group Pipeline Company and at the time of his passing, he was employed by H & P Drilling Company.
Since a young boy, Corry had a passion for dirt bike riding. He was a member of the Black Forest Conservation Club and a lifetime member of the NRA. He was an avid hunter. His greatest love was spending time with his family. Corry always had a smile and would give you the shirt off his back.
Surviving besides his parents of Coudersport are two brothers, Timothy L. Gaberseck and L. Ryan (Jacey) Gaberseck, both of Coudersport; his beloved girlfriend, Erika K. Easton of Coudersport; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Corry was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Bill and Phyllis Gaberseck; and his maternal grandmother, Donita Empson.
There will be no public visitation. Burial will be in Odin Cemetery.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 4pm to 7pm at the Coudersport American Legion Post 192, where a celebration of Corry’s life will follow at 7pm with Pastor Joe Gerhart of the Coudersport Alliance Church, officiating.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials, in Corry’s name, may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Corry’s family has entrusted his care to the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
