Diane Elaine Varga       “beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister”

CITRA, FLORIDA----Diane Elaine Varga, 75, of Citra, Florida, formerly

of Ashford, Connecticut, passed away with her loving family by her side on Monday, January 8, 2018.

Born on January 4, 1943 in Stafford Springs, Connecticut, the daughter of Frank C. and Elaine E. Varga. Diane enjoyed painting, intricate macramé hangings, gardening, Harleys and had a great passion for Hungarian cooking. Her cooking skills were utilized during her career as a chef at several of the finest dining areas in the Naples, Florida area.

Diane was proceeded in death by her son Jeffery D. Cadwell, and her sister Deborah MacNaughton.

She leaves behind her husband Patrick Dobshia; sons, Scott A. and

Michael D. Cadwell; Michael’s wife Joanne; daughter Wendy D. Mountain; daughter-in-law Betty Cadwell; her brother Wayne E. “Lucky” Varga and his wife Brenda; grandchildren, Daniel Moffitt, Morgan Cadwell, Michelle Cadwell, Amber Cadwell, Zachary Cadwell, Dustin Cadwell, Richard Cadwell and Christopher Vinning; along with four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Westford Cemetery, Ashford, CT,

on August 25th 2018 at 2:00 PM for friends and family.

Diane’s family has entrusted her care to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
