BOLIVAR, NY---Donald M. âDonnyâ Lamb, 55, a longtime resident of Bolivar, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at the Olean General Hospital, Olean.
Born on May 10, 1960 in Cuba, NY, he was a son of Thomas Jr. and Anna Taylor Lamb.
Donny was a graduate of Oswayo Valley High School in Shinglehouse. Mr. Lamb was a U.S. Army veteran having served from 1979 to 1981. He was a truck driver for many years.
He attended the Shinglehouse Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved junking.
Surviving are three children, Gene (Susan) Kuder of Oswayo, Pa., Keith (Gwen) Kuder of Rock Springs, Wyoming, and Holly (Dave) Kuder of Bowman, North Dakota; a stepdaughter, Jessica Davis of Olean; several grandchildren; two sisters, Donna (Terry) Smith of Cuba, NY and Tammy Willover of Belmont, NY; two brothers, Thomas (Linda) Lamb III of Bolivar and Steve (Sarah) Fiske of Ceres, NY; several grandchildren; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Donny was predeceased by a daughter, Lisa Marie Lamb; a sister, Patricia Stives; and a brother, Gerald T. âJerryâ Lamb.
A graveside service will be held at 1p.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2015 in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Shinglehouse, with the Rev. James Haddon, pastor of the Shinglehouse Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, officiating.
Members of the Potter County Honor will accord full military honors on Saturday at the cemetery.
Donnyâs family has entrusted his care to the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse, PA.
