Erica S. Nupp                               “beloved daughter, sister, and mother”

OLEAN, NY---Erica S. Nupp, 49, of Olean, formerly of Hinsdale, passed away with her loving family by her side on Sunday, February 23, 2025, in the Olean General Hospital, Olean, after a battle with declining health.

Born on Friday, September 19, 1975 in Olean, she was a daughter of LeRoy W. Nupp, Sr. and Toni K. Constantine Gibbons Kostus.

Erica was a graduate of Olean High School. She had previously been employed at Cutco in Olean.

She enjoyed collecting heart shaped rocks. She loved spending time with her family and her beloved German Shepherds, Raya and Bee.

One of her last acts of kindness was being an organ donor.

Surviving are her mother of Shinglehouse; two sons, Draven M. Gibbons and Seth E. Gibbons, both of Shinglehouse; a brother, LeRoy Nupp of Bolivar; a sister, Kim Voorhees of Shinglehouse; a niece, Brooke Voorhees; two nephews, Ethan Voorhees of Shinglehouse and Ryan Nupp of Shinglehouse.

In addition to her father, Erica was predeceased by her stepfather, David Gibbons.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life honoring Erica from 1pm to 3pm on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the Hinsdale Volunteer Fire Department, 3832 Church Street, Hinsdale.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Erica’s name may be made to the Hinsdale Volunteer Volunteer Fire Department, 3832 Church Street, Hinsdale, NY 14743.

Erica’s family has entrusted her care and cremation arrangements to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse, PA.
