Born on Saturday, May 11, 1935 in Coudersport, he was a son of Harold E. and Mary Stebbins Carpenter. On July 29, 1967 in Oswayo, he married Diana Irene Weimer, who passed away on January 20, 2011.

Pa was a former member of the Oswayo Valley Rod & Gun Club in Millport. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing, camping in Chincoteaque, Virginia, and playing with his grandchildren. He had a wonderful sense of humor, always wanting to make people laugh. In earlier years, Pa and his wife, Diana, enjoyed bowling together. He loved his dogs, Chipper and Jack, but his greatest love was his family.
He was loved by family and friends and will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents and wife, Pa was predeceased by three brothers, Earl Carpenter, Gerald Carpenter, and James Carpenter; three sisters, Grace Carpenter, Esther Carpenter, and Carolyn Rossman; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Friends are welcome to join Pa’s family for graveside burial services at 11am on Thursday, December 16, 2021, in the Rathbone Cemetery, Coneville, PA. Pastor Hank St. Amour of Hebron Union Church, will officiate.
Members of the Potter County Honor Guard will accord full military honors on Thursday in the cemetery.

Harold and family, deepest sympathy sent to you. Always enjoyed talking with Junior when he stopped at camp. I am a former member of the Collinsburg Hunting and Fishing Camp which Junior usually stopped when he seen us at camp. My Dad was good friends with him. Had a lot of laughs.
