Harry C. Sickler II                  “beloved husband, son, and brother”


COUDERSPORT, PA---Harry C. Sickler II, 63, a longtime resident of Coudersport, passed away in his home on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer.


Born on Saturday, July 16, 1960 in Berwick, PA, he was a son of Harry C. and Shirley Kramer Sickler. On August 20, 1994 in Coudersport, he married Tamra M. “Tammy” Lewis, who survives.


Harry was a graduate of Coudersport Area High School, Class of 1978 and was a graduate of Williamsport Area College becoming a radiologic technologist.


Harry was employed by the former Charles Cole Memorial Hospital, now UPMC Cole, as a sonographer and radiologic technologist until his retirement. After his retirement from the hospital, Harry volunteered at the Potter County Food Bank as manager.


Harry was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance in Harrison Valley. He enjoyed taking his dogs for walks.


Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 29 years; his parents of Coudersport; his beloved fur babies, Kali and Kassi; two brothers, Randy (Cheryl) Sickler of Coudersport and Gary Sickler of Waynesboro, VA; a brother-in-law, Michael (Michelle) Lewis of Coudersport; and many nieces and nephews.


Harry was predeceased by his grandparents and an uncle.


To pay respects to Harry and his family, calling hours will be held from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm on Friday and from 2:30pm to 3:30pm on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Coudersport Alliance Church, 7 Alliance Avenue, Coudersport, where funeral services will follow at 3:30pm with the Rev. Kevin Cornish, Harry’s pastor and friend, officiating. Burial will be in Sweden Hill Cemetery, Coudersport.


In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Harrison Valley Alliance Church, 217 East Main Street, Harrison Valley, PA 16927.


Harry entrusted his care to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
