James Speece Clark “beloved husband, father, son, and brother”

PICAYUNE, Mississippi---James Speece Clark, 60, of Picayune, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021, in Picayune, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on Tuesday, January 10, 1961 in Olean, N.Y., he was a son of James S. Clark and Sandra L. Haynes Condon. On September 10, 2016 in Picayune, he married Wendy Clark, who survives.

His family lived throughout the United States, following his father’s military career. James graduated from high school in Texas.

James was a self-employed contractor having worked in Louisiana and Mississippi.

James accepted Christ as his personal Savior and was a member of True Life under the leadership of Pastor Leo Burge. He enjoyed the outdoors and the simple things in life. He loved the Lord, his family, and his many pets. He loved going for rides with his dogs in his truck, “Ruby”.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife, Wendy; a daughter, Stormy Clark; a son, Robby (Destiny) Clark; his stepfather, Denis Condon; three sisters, Kimberly (Randy) Milliken, Debra (Allan) Ponsaa, and Stephanie (Anthony) Perry; two stepsons, Kyle (Brooke) Ching and Zee (Iriel) Ching; a sister-in-law, Kerry Clark; five grandchildren, Raven, Quest, Kadyn, Coen, and Tyson; two great-grandchildren, Kyler and Allister; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved pets, Travler, Harley, Claws, Tiger, Sylvia, Fang, and Grace.

In addition to his father and mother, James was predeceased by a son, James S. Clark; a grandson, Rayburn Clark; and a brother, David Clark.

In keeping with James’ wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral services

Locally the family is being assisted by Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse, Pa.
