SHINGLEHOUSE, Pa.---Jeanne L. Gourley, 57, of Shinglehouse, formerly of Wallingford, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Monday, April 22, 2019.

Born on June 10, 1961 in Chester, she was a daughter of Robert J. and Mary Louise Keyser Gourley.

Jeanne attended Chichester High School in Chichester and Neumann University in Aston. 

She was employed in retail sales.

Jeanne enjoyed photography and kept a detailed journal of her activities.  She loved her grandchildren.

Surviving are three children, Stephen J. Stefanko of Havertown, Christopher M. Stefanko of Collingdale, and Lauren M. (Derek) Rush of Havertown; two grandchildren, Benjamin Fleming and Kaylee Rush; a sister, Nancy L. McCleaft of Shinglehouse; a brother, James R. (Rita) Gourley of Brookhaven; a special aunt, Joan A. Bridge of Media; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Jeanne was predeceased by a sister, Amy Gourley.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May, 5, 2019, at the Shinglehouse United Methodist Church, North Lincoln Street, Shinglehouse, with Pastor Preston L. Hutchins, Jr, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a church of the donor’s choice.

Jeanne’s family has entrusted her care and cremation arrangements to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
