Jeremiah C. Haug “beloved son, brother, and uncle”
RICHBURG, N.Y.---Jeremiah C. Haug, 42, a longtime resident of Richburg, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Saturday, February 19, 2022.
Born on Tuesday, March 13, 1979 in Beloit, Wisconsin, he was a son of Carl O. and Kimberly K. Burdick Haug.
Jeremiah was a graduate of Bolivar-Richburg High School, Class of 1997. He attended Jamestown Community College in Olean.
At the time of his death, Jeremiah was employed as a rural mail carrier for the US Postal Service in Friendship, having worked there for several years. He served as a union Steward and also taught postal classes in Buffalo, N.Y. for new employees.
Jeremiah loved to play the guitar and had previously been a member of a band in the local area.
Left to cherish his memory are his father, Carl O. (Joan) Haug of Friendship; his mother, Kimberly K. Burdick of Richburg; a sister, Becca L. Dickerson of Galeton, PA; three nieces, Tiffany N. (fiance, Jeffrey Denmark, Jr.) Dickerson, Erynn R. Dickerson, and Johanna M. Dickerson; a step-sister, Julie (Robert) Hieber of Roanoke, Virginia; and several aunts and uncles.
Jeremiah was predeceased by his paternal and maternal grandparents; and a step-sister, Alissa R. Putnam.
Currently no services are planned at this time.
