Jordan M. Whitsell (Howard)     “beloved husband, father, son, & brother”

SHINGLEHOUSE, PA---Jordan M. Whitsell (Howard), 28, of Shinglehouse, passed away at home on Thursday, May 12, 2016.
     Born on January 6, 1988 in Wellsville, NY, he was a son of Patrick H. Howard and Penny L. Whitsell.  On May 19, 2012 in Shinglehouse, he married Amie L. Holmes, who survives.
     Jordan was a graduate of Oswayo Valley High School, Class of 2007, in Shinglehouse.  He was employed as a truck driver, welder, mechanic and logger.
     He loved to hunt and fish.
     Surviving in addition to his wife are his father and stepmother, Patrick and Billie Jo Howard of Shinglehouse; his mother and stepfather, Penny and Walt Hurlburt of Belfast, NY; three children, Grace L. Rositzke, Trenton J. Whitsell, and Landyn W. Whitsell; nine siblings, Ian K. Dannheim, Kelsey R. Hurlburt, Alyssa C. Hurlburt, Trevor L. Howard, Spencer P. Howard, Ryder T. Howard, Parker J. Howard, Quintyn H. Howard, and Conner O. Howard; his paternal grandmother, Cecelia “Pudd” Howard; his maternal grandparents, Monte and Vi Hathaway and Lawrence Jr. and Kay Whitsell; his step-grandparents; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
     Jordan was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Joseph Howard.
     Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, May 16, 2016 at the First Baptist Church, Academy Street, Shinglehouse, where a memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Russell J. Horning, pastor, officiating.
