Kevin A. Euken
COUDERSPORT, Pa.---Kevin A. Euken, 63, a longtime resident of Coudersport, passed away in his home and was pronounced dead of natural causes on Friday, January 14, 2022.
Born on Monday, March 3, 1958, in Coudersport, he was a son of Otto and Hila M. Pearsall Euken. In 2014 in Coudersport, he married Walter P. “Walt” Baker, who survives.
He was a graduate of Coudersport High School. Kevin was a chef for the majority of his life. He and Walt, owned and operated the former Maple Tree in Coudersport. He was last employed as the head chef at the Coudersport Golf Club.
Kevin loved to bake and cook, at which he excelled. In his earlier years, his wedding cakes were highly sought after. He loved his cats and dogs throughout the years.
Left to his cherish his memory are his husband of Coudersport; his stepson, Rytz (Hannah) Bowman of Kent, Ohio; a sister, Alice J. Stiles of Coudersport; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Kevin was predeceased by four brothers, Edward Snyder, Jr., John Snyder, Michael Euken, and Mark Euken; and two sisters, Virginia Fodge and Letitia Snyder.
Family and friends may call from 1pm to 3pm on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at the Gold Church, 2402 SR 49W, Ulysses, where a celebration of life will follow at 3pm with Pastor Cameron Cowburn, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Teacher’s Pet Rescue, 19 Blackberry Lane, Coudersport, PA 16915.
Kevin’s husband entrusted his care and cremation arrangements to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
