TWIN FALLS, IDAHO---Mr. Laurie Gene Kellogg, 44, of Twin Falls, formerly of Shinglehouse, PA, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Boise, Idaho, after suffering a massive stroke.
     Born July 6, 1970 in Coudersport, PA, he was a son of Gerald A. “Jerry” and Sharon J. Stewart Kellogg.
Laurie was a graduate of Oswayo Valley High School, Shinglehouse, Class of 1988 and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford in 1992 with a degree in computer science.
     For many years before moving to Twin Falls in August of 2014, Laurie was employed in the family business, Kellogg Communications in Shinglehouse.  At the time of his death, he was employed in Twin Falls as a janitor for Class Act Janitorial Inc. and also at Mystic Paws Dog Grooming.
     Laurie enjoyed chatting with online friends, playing YuGiOh, hiking, and keeping up on the spiritual/political state of this country.  Laurie always showed kindness and compassion to all living things whether animal or fellow mankind.
     Along with his parents of Shinglehouse, Laurie is survived by his girlfriend and the love of his life, Christina  â€œHawke” DeCamp with whom he resided; his grandfather, Robert Stewart of Shinglehouse; a sister, Leah J. (Pastor Jeremy) Stuck of Belmont, NY; two brothers, Joshua D. (Jacquelyn) Kellogg of Gibsonia and Daniel S. (Robin Baker) Kellogg of Shinglehouse; his nieces and nephews: Taylor, Christian and Aaron Stuck; Faith and Michael Kellogg; Edwin Johnson; and three uncles and three aunts.
     Laurie was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Glen and Grace Kellogg; and his maternal grandmother, Lula Stewart.
     A memorial service will be held in Twin Falls.
     Laurie’s family has entrusted his care to the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
