Lisa Jean Outman                  “beloved sister, aunt, and friend”

ULYSSES. PA---Lisa Jean Outman, 61, a lifelong resident of Ulysses, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 10, 2025, in UPMC Williamsport with her loving family and friends by her side.

Born on Friday, August 2, 1963 in Coudersport, she was a daughter of Paul F. and Mary Jean Madison Outman.

Lisa was a graduate of Northern Potter High School and was also a graduate of the former Olean Business Institute in Olean, NY.

Lisa's life was woven with lifelong friendships, a love for family and a boundless love of adventure. From summer evenings around bonfires to her legendary cheesecake, she filled our lives with fierce love, fun and loyalty. Her home was often a haven for those who needed it. Her artistic talents whether crafting with her grandchildren or crocheting, which she liked to share with others. Her cat Lucy was a constant companion during quieter times. For those who knew her, the image of Lisa riding down the road on her Harley, reflects the adventurous spirit we loved. Lisa's generosity and loyalty will be remembered by her special friends too many to mention. We will cherish the memories and miss her deeply.

Left to cherish her memory are two sisters, Paula L. (Robert) Henry of Victor, NY and Linda K. (Gary) Snyder of Coudersport; five nieces; a nephew; ten grandnieces and grandnephews; a great-grandnephew; beloved friends Brentle and Rachel Willow; three granddaughters, Teegan Willow, 13, Legacy Willow, 10, and Carter Willow, 9; and many beloved friends too many to mention.

Lisa was predeceased by her parents.

In keeping with Lisa’s wishes, there will be no public services. Lisa will be laid to rest with her parents in the Ulysses Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Lisa’s name may be made to Ulysses American Legion Unit # 963 Auxiliary, 963 State Route 49W, Ulysses, PA 16948.

Lisa’s family has entrusted her care and cremation arrangements to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
