Mark A. Lentz     “beloved son, father and brother”

COUDERSPORT---Mark A. Lentz, 64, of Coudersport, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Wednesday, January 17, 2018.

Born on January 20, 1953 in Coudersport, he was a son of Lawrence M. and Erika Frank Lentz. 

Mark was a graduate of Austin High School, Class of 1971.  He served his country in the U.S. Army.  He was employed for several years at Bendigo State Park in Johnsonburg until retiring due to ill health.

He loved hunting, fishing and anything outdoors.  He was a proud member of the NRA. His greatest love was his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother of Coudersport; three sons, Ealion Worrall, Mark Worrall of Beaver Falls, and Samuel Lentz; a daughter, Kristen Schooley of Butler; three grandsons, Landin Richard Schooley, Noah Lawrence Schooley, and Kyle Worrall; five siblings, Katherine A. (Irvin) Saler of Coudersport, Lawrence K. Lentz of Coudersport, Vera E. Pesock of Austin, Brenda L. (Steve) Erway of Coudersport, and Melinda Y. (Michael) Monroe of Galeton; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, Mark was predeceased by a sister, Liesa Joy Lentz.

In keeping with Mark’s wishes, there will be no services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.

Mark’s family has entrusted his care to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
