Olive V. Ingraham      â€œbeloved mother and grandmother”

CERES, PA---Olive V. Ingraham, 95, of Ceres, formerly of Hickox and Shinglehouse, passed away at home with her loving daughter by her side on Friday, January 22, 2016, after a long illness.
     Born on July 10, 1920 in Genesee, she was a daughter of William and Maude Butler Williams.  She was raised by her grandparents, Alpheus and Minnie VanPelt Williams.  On July 10, 1940 in Genesee, she married Dan Williams, who passed away on January 1, 1978.  On February 14, 1979 in Stannards, NY, she married Victor Ingraham, who passed away in September of 1986.
     She attended school in Genesee.  
     Mrs. Ingraham loved spending time and working on her daughter and son-in-law’s farm in Hebron. She enjoyed collecting dolls and owls.  
     Surviving are four daughters, Lenai B. J. Cole of Ceres, Lowanna F. (Glen) Taylor of Shinglehouse, Leanna S. Carpenter of Hebron, and Linda M. (Warren Palmer) Williams of Coneville; twelve grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
     In addition to her parents and husbands, Mrs. Ingraham was predeceased by two sons, Leonard “Darwin” Williams and Loren I. Williams; and two brothers, Charles Williams and Paul Williams.
     Friends may call from 11 am to 1 pm on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, 118 South Union Street, Shinglehouse, where funeral services will follow at 1 pm with the Rev. Russell J. Horning, pastor of the First Baptist Church, Shinglehouse, officiating.  Burial will be in Rathbone Cemetery, Coneville.
