Stephen E. Osburn
SHINGLEHOUSE, Pa.---Stephen E. “Steve” Osburn, 64, of Shinglehouse, passed away with his loving family by his side on Thursday, July 8, 2021, in Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre.
Born on Tuesday, August 28, 1956, in Wellsville, N.Y., he was a son of Leo E. and Ruth A. Ball Osburn.
Steve was a graduate of Bolivar High School. He was employed for several years as a machinist at Dresser Rand Industries in Olean, N.Y.
Steve was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Shinglehouse. He had been a member of the Eastern Motor Racing Association and was a member of the NRA. He enjoyed hunting, guitars, music, and was an avid Formula One racing fan.
Left to cherish his memory are his former wife, Terri L. Osburn of Rushford, N.Y.; five children, David E. (April) Osburn of Belfast, N.Y., Anni L. (Benjamin) Perrello of Buffalo, N.Y., Lee W. Osburn of Arcade, N.Y., Jody W. (Aly) Osburn of Rushford, N.Y., and Autumn K. (Kyle Schwedt) Osburn of Arcade, N.Y.; four grandchildren; two sisters, Sherry Orrell of Suffolk, Virginia and Lee (Bobby) Hendrix of North Las Vegas, Nevada; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; and a good and faithful friend, Randy Rossman of Olean, N.Y.
In addition to his parents, Steve was predeceased by a sister, Colleen Siccard.
A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1pm on Monday, July 26, 2021, in St. Theresa Catholic Church, Shinglehouse, with the Rev. Thomas Brown, pastor, as celebrant.. Burial will follow in Rathbone Cemetery, Coneville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Steve’s family has entrusted his care and cremation arrangements to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
