Terry L. Smith “beloved husband”
CUBA, N.Y.---Terry L. Smith, 64, a lifelong resident of Cuba, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021, in the Olean General Hospital, Olean, after a long illness.
Born on Monday, March 5, 1956 in Cuba, he was a son of Clifford H. and Helen L. Dalaba Smith. On April 30, 1999, in the First Baptist Church in Cuba, he married Donna D. Lamb, who survives.
Terry was a graduate of Cuba High School. He was employed as a dietary tech for nearly 40 years at the Cuba Memorial Hospital in Cuba.
He enjoyed being in the outdoors. His greatest love was his family. Terry and his wife lived in the house where he lived growing up with his family.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Donna; a sister, Nancy (Michael) Papalia of Jamestown; three brothers, Clifford A. Smith of Cuba, David (Peggy) Smith of Belmont, and Timmy Smith of Cuba; a niece; a nephew; two grandnieces; and two grandnephews.
Terry was predeceased by his parents.
In keeping with Terry’s wishes, there will be no visitation. He will be laid to rest with family members in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Shinglehouse, Pa.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
Terry’s family entrusted his care to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse, Pa.
