Tina M. Champlin      â€œbeloved wife, mother and grandmother”

ELDRED, PA----Tina M. Champlin, 57, of Eldred, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Tuesday, December 18, 2012.
     Born September 9, 1955 in Buffalo, NY, she was a daughter of Theodore and Patricia Frost Hills.  On July 17, 1982 in Eldred, she married Carl E. Champlin, who survives.
     Tina attended school in Smethport.  She enjoyed crocheting and reading. She was an avid NASCAR fan and football fan, with her favorite teams being the Green Bay Packers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  Her favorite holiday was Christmas.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Gabriel.
     She was a longtime resident of Eldred.
     Surviving besides her husband; are her mother of Smethport; her father of Oswego, NY; her 6 children, Michael T. Smith of Olean, NY, Yvonne A. Smith of Jewett City, CT, Joy M. Champlin, Carl E. Champlin, Andy L. Champlin, and Trudy M. Champlin, all of Eldred; a grandson, Gabriel Forrest; several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
     Friends may call at the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, 118 South Union Street, Shinglehouse, on Friday, December 21, 2012 from noon to 2pm at which time funeral services will be held with Bryan Garrett, pastor of Olean Community Evangelical Church, officiating.  Burial will be in Nellis Cemetery, Eldred.
   In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
