Warren K. Palmer “beloved friend, brother and uncle”
CONEVILLE, Pa.---Warren K. Palmer, 79, of Coneville, passed away in his home on Friday, June 4, 2021, after a period of declining health.
Born on Wednesday, April 8, 1942, in Philadelphia, he was a son of Warren B. and Alice Adams Palmer.
Warren was a graduate of Ambler High School in Ambler. He was a US Army veteran, having served in the Army Reserves. Warren was a mechanic having owned and operated a repair service in Olean, N.Y. He had also worked at several area garages. He was also a pig farmer for many years, having truly loved being a farmer.
Warren was a member of the Co-operative Extension in Coudersport. He was a former member of the Oswayo Valley Senior Center in Shinglehouse, where he had also volunteered as a Meals on Wheels delivery driver.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved friend and companion, Linda Williams of Coneville; a daughter, Maureen Palmer (Alan) Ciemian of Lancaster: two brothers, Ron (Linda) Palmer of St. Peters and Glenn (Carol) Palmer of Blue Bell; a sister, Diane Scott of Telford; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In keeping with Warren’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Warren’s name may be made to the Shinglehouse Volunteer Ambulance Association, PO Box 98, Shinglehouse, PA 16748 or to the L.E.E.K. Hunting and Mountain Preserve Inc., 497 PA-244, Oswayo, PA 16915.
Warren’s family has entrusted his care and cremation arrangements to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
